Activities during the tour: visit a coffee farm and see the plantation with basic process before been roasted, this is an opportunity to see where the great Colombian coffee is cultivated. Continuing the route towards Ecuador we entered exactly by the North border where the mountain range of the Andes makes its ramifications in the Colombian territory; we will descend to the coastal route that offers us among others to appreciate the Afro-Ecuadorian cultures and fishermen communities. The cold waters of Pacific Ocean offer great variety of sea products due to the proximity of the Humboldt Current. In order to cross from Ecuador to Peru we will ride in hard pack gravel roads by the east side of the Andes, visiting Vilcabamba also known as ‘longevity valley’ name after its excellent climate; tropical forests, small parcels, small towns that serve as supplying and agricultural product storing, before arriving at the border journey the route changes to single track road at this point there is almost no traffic. When crossing to Peru we continued traveling in hard pack gravel roads in the east of the Andes heading south , by its topography and location we find tropical forests, fruits, landscapes and in special its settlers, to the south we will meet the Amazon road there we go west road toward the ocean .

After a deserved rest next to the ocean we will travel south until the crossing of the Santa river then east to ride on hard pack gravel road beginning to raise the Andes by the Santa river canyon , the highway built on what one day was a railroad destroyed by the action of an earthquake, when arriving at the peak level of the Andes we entered another canyon called the duck's canyon “Cañon del Pato” with its 35 tunnels to end at `the Huaylas valley '; here we will travel in the middle of two mountainous systems with great differences due to its climatic influence, the east side of the mountain is called the white mountain range “Cordillera Blanca” because in its peaks we find snow and the west side is called the black mountain range “Cordillera Negra” due to the desert influence of its peaks that do not have snow and the rocks are black, in this region is located one of the highest road passes in South America and one of the highest in the Western Hemisphere with 4.950 meters (16.241 feet) above sea level.
